Kheltzu

Kheltzu is an old Chelonian general and master strategist that for undisclosed reasons fell from The Draconian Queen's grace. Rather than being served as hors-d'oeuvre at the Royal banquet, as tradition demanded for him to redeem himself, he opted on flight. He went into exile with his closest band of brothers in tow. After dispersing among the stars they lived quiet lives keeping little or no contact with each other.

A few years later Kheltzu found himself unwillingly dragged back into intergalactic politics as the small community he had lived in was hit by off-world marauders. Since the villagers had helped him get back on his feet he felt obliged to in turn help them and thus organised a successful defense.

Unfortunately the Draconian off-worlders recognized him and returned with superior fire-power to claim the bounty placed on his head. The village was thoroughly sacked and himself hauled off for transportation back into Draconian Space.

Fortunately for him the marauders had in turn been hunted by McCormick for some time. McCormick had finally managed to establish a lock on the marauders' trajectory and intercepted the transport before it could warp into Draconian Space.

Kheltzu joined the team and has since then imbued it with his ever-adapting knowledge of guerilla-style warfare.

I derived the name Kheltzu is from "Chelonian" and "Sun Tzu" / "Lao Tzu" which pretty much sums up the character's physical and mental traits;

Turtles are reptiles of the order Testudines (the crown group of the superorder Chelonia).

Sun Tzu was an ancient Chinese military general and strategist and philosopher who is traditionally believed to have authored The Art of War, an influential ancient Chinese book on military strategy considered to be a prime example of Taoist thinking.

According to legend Lao Tzu was keeper of the archives at the imperial court. When he was eighty years old he set out for the western border of China, toward what is now Tibet, saddened and disillusioned that men were unwilling to follow the path to natural goodness. At the border (Hank Pass), a guard, Yin Xi (Yin Hsi), asked Lao Tsu to record his teachings before he left. He then composed in 5,000 characters the Tao Te Ching (The Way and Its Power).

Jane Doe

Happ. Road-tripping norröver under kristiflygarhelgen.
